The Bewbush Centre

The new Bewbush Centre has been developed as part of the ‘Heart of Bewbush’ regeneration project in Crawley, East Sussex. Glass and textile works were commissioned by Crawley Borough Council. The local Bewbush community wanted to bring natural elements from their neighbourhood into the building, and I used colour, shape and pattern to interpret images of trees, water and plants from local green spaces.

The laminated glass window panels, encapsulating photographic images and blocks of transparent colour, change from day to night, and when viewed from inside or outside the building.
