I combine different media and materials to make panels that can be wall or ceiling hung.These include using layering and laminating of fired glass with digitally printed and painted silk.Light, colour and illusion are important, as panels change when viewed from different angles, whether wall hung or back lit.
I often use photography to source images of natural and man made lines, boundaries, shapes and patterns in the landscape, which are then changed and fragmented.
I use both overview and detail, exploring a particular time and place in each work.
