Glass & Textile Works
As an artist I have always enjoyed combining textiles with other media. I find it important to make work that appeals to both the intellect and the senses, and pieces develop through drawing and planning as well as in response to materials, colour and surface qualities. I find that developing new techniques pushes my work forwards. I am interested in layering, transparency and illusion, and recently this has led to an increasing use of glass in individual pieces.
