Keepsake

In recent work I have focused on my interest in landscape and archaeology, particularly at the coastal boundaries of Britain. Installations in glass, metal and paper reflect specific aspects of the natural environment, from details of minute lichens to aerial overviews. Research at archaeological sites is often linked to local museum collections of found artefacts.

For the Re-Making the Past touring exhibition, with support from Arts Council England, I responded to the pre-history of Orkney, using different viewpoints and changes of focus at Bronze Age and Neolithic sites. I have currently been commissioned by Artsreach, in partnership with Dorset AONB, to research the archaeology of the South Dorset Ridgeway. Work made for an exhibition to tour villages in 2016 will raise awareness and involvement in local heritage and environment.

Please contact me for information on individual commissions or site specific projects.
